A first of its kind

Monday morning at 7:00 two of the founders of the Missouri Liberty Coalition will be the guest on KSGF talk radio to discuss issues that will be on the city council agenda Monday evening.

Host Vincent D. Jericho has asked MoLiCo to appear on the radio show every other Monday morning to discuss the issues of city council.

This is a great opportunity for the local listeners to become involved and get to understand why watching what council does is so important to the community.

Watching over our tax money is a 24 by 7 by 365 job and when more people get involved in the process those that handle the funds will be much more careful on the disbursement of such funds.

There really doesn't appear to be much on the agenda as far as the people being "allowed" to address council, but the big issue will be whether or not council votes to instill inspection fees to the restaurant owners here in the Springfield/Greene County area.

MoLiCo membership is opposed to adding this cost on top of all the other rising cost that hit every business owner across the nation. It is unconscionable that a government agency can mandate a government inspection and charge for the privilege of this inspection when current taxation is in place to handle such cost.

This vote will truly show if any of the council members are truly of the "smaller government" cloth or just blowing hot air
